JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and programming of NORTEL Meridian telephone systems, Avaya Communications Manager Telephone systems and associated applications. Candidate may be asked to perform work on other Nortel and Avaya systems and products.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school degree required; Associate degree preferred with 1 –2 years of experience in telephone or electronics experience.
  • PC knowledge required and the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all customers
  • Must have good working knowledge of Category 3 & 5 voice/data wiring platforms and familiarity with telephony color codes and standards
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networks
  • Product knowledge of Adtran and Cisco products also a plus
  • Familiarity with Nortel and Avaya products is desired
  • Nortel/Avaya Certification is highly desired
  • A valid driver’s license and transportation is required.
