Northland Communications Creates New Positions as the Company Continues to Consistently Grow

Company on track for a 12.5% increase in new jobs since 2021.

[Syracuse, NY, March 8] Northland Communications, a Central New York-based telecommunications provider, continues to create new positions and add more members to the company’s team of experts.

Northland Communications has consistently grown to meet current and prospective customer growth over the last couple years. With 2023 forecasting additional new positions this calendar year, the organization is projecting an additional 12.5% to their workforce.

“We’ve added quite a few positions, with the goal of meeting demand and setting ourselves up for future success operationally,” said Theresa Jalowiec, vice president of people + talent, Northland Communications. “Between evolving technology and extending our expertise, we are thrilled to be part of the economic growth of our communities.”

As part of the company’s growth, Northland has also welcomed new team members. Recently, Northland welcomed provisioning specialist Patrick Creedon and NOC Technician Kucjok Ater to the team, and Lenny Racquet transitioned from his role as a cabling specialist to a lineman.

Creedon now works to process orders and interfaces with technicians, customers, and vendors regarding due dates and cutover procedures, while Ater now helps troubleshoot service issues and resolve any customer concerns. Racquet works with Northland’s line crew constructing both aerial and buried infrastructure for Northland’s dedicated fiber network across Central New York.
