Northland Communications Names New Vice President of Operations

Northland Communications, a Central New York-based telecommunications provider, has named a new vice president of operations to its leadership team.

Scott Tyler brings over twenty years of experience and industry knowledge with him to his new role. Tyler specializes in network engineering, fiber optics, data networking, and leadership development.

Moving forward, Tyler and his team will focus on optimizing Northland’s operations strategy to create quality connections between Northland Communications, its customers, and its community. He will work to align the outside plant, equipment, network services, and network engineering departments in a proactive manner that leverages the resources and unique differentiators Northland provides its customers. Tyler, a born and raised upstate New Yorker, said he is most looking forward to “finding new ways to combine connectivity to information and people in the area through the use of Northland’s trusted technology.”
