Northland Communications Announces Employee Promotion, Welcomes 4 New Employees

Northland Communications is pleased to announce that four new employees have joined our team and Gary DeStefanis, former Telecom Technician Specialist, has been promoted to Dispatch & CLEC Supervisor.

As our Dispatch & CLEC Supervisor, Gary DeStefanis will be responsible for supervising both the Dispatch and CLEC divisions of our Operations Team. He brings several years of field experience to this new position and we’re confident this transition will benefit our team and customers. Congratulations, Gary!

Northland welcomed Marc Wojciechowski on Oct. 15 as Materials Assistant. Prior to joining the team at Northland, he worked for the town of Floyd Hi-Way Department for 10 years and also worked in construction. He currently resides in Floyd with his wife and two children.

Anthony Gentile started as a Lineman on Oct. 15. Prior to joining our team, he worked at IBEW Local 1249 for 10 years, where he operated equipment such as bucket trucks, skidders, track machines and skid steers. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys outdoor activities.

Raymond Edwards joined Northland as a Lineman on Oct. 30.  Prior to joining our team, he spent the majority of his career managing a family dairy farm in Stittville, NY, which is where he currently lives with his family. He was later employed by Ryder, where he became a full-time diesel mechanic. Raymond looks forward to expanding his knowledge of the telecommunications industry in his new role at Northland.

Daryl Finn joined Northland as a Telecom Technician on Oct. 29.  He previously worked for Time Warner/Spectrum and held roles in various departments. Daryl is married with two children and enjoys hunting and fishing as well as staying active playing hockey, softball and golf.
